The list of computer generated players in Backyard Football is a list encompassing all players that are made by the computer for non-player teams. I've been meaning to do this for a while, but I just expanded the page with a notes section for each table. I put in the developers pointed out by Kirben, and moved the '137 Bink Videos' for Backyard Football 2002 to notes. This way, not only can we add developers, we can also add notes like that, so the new entry in the tables should be useful. I also added a section for the Humongous Entertainment IP Tommo published under the Humongous Entertainment name (I'm not going to add the games published under the Humongous Publishing label since they aren't 2D adventures so they don't fit in the scope of ScummVM, and the IPs used don't have any connection to the old Humongous Entertainment company anyway). I also changed the bottom two companies to let people know whether they were published by Infogrames/Atari or Tommo.

Humongous Inc. is a new division of Atari and not related to Humongous Entertainment, which was shut down. So recent Backyard sports titles (ie 2007 series) from Humongous Inc. should be listed on a separate page, if they must be listed at all. -- Kirben

They are related to Humongous Entertainment in the fact that Atari owns the Humongous brand and had decided to continue with the name and the series. It may not be the same people at Humongous, nor the same building or the original owners - but Infogrames has owned Humongous long enough to consider it the same company IMHO. Humongous Entertainment was bought by Infogrames (Atari now) and became a division of Infogrames. The Humongous Entertainment division was closed in 2005. A Humongous Inc. division was created in 2006, in order to continue the Backyard sports brand of games. So clearly Humongous Entertainment and Humongous Inc. are separate developers. I don't see them as seperate personally. For example, the same could be said of the original Disney Animation studios and the new Disney Animation studios under the control of Pixar. The original Disney animation studios were shut down, and the majority of the staff was fired. The new Disney 2D Animation studios occupy a different building, use different animators, and has a different division name, but it's still Disney Animation studios. In my opinion, if they use the same engines, use the same brand name, and use the same game series names, it's the same company. The games have a right to stay linked under Humongous Entertainment - in my opinion at least. MetaFox 01:01, 26 January 2007 (UTC)

Disney isn't a good example, considering they had several 2D animation studios worldwide (Australia and Japan), before they were all shutdown. In the case of Disney, credit would always go to the exact animation studio used for a project. The SCUMM and YAGA game engines are no longer used at all, the YAGA engine was only used for five games. I expect custom engines are used for recent Backyard sports titles, considering they moved to 3D graphics and are mainly console ports now. Adding all titles under 'Humongous Entertainment' doesn't make sense, considering the new division is actually called 'Humongous Inc.' and not 'Humongous Entertainment' any more.
